The end of April, we packed up our cars....and hit the road for Montana. It was bitter sweet leaving Ann Arbor...but with so much excitement and adventure awaiting us, we were nothing but ecstatic!

We spent the next month soaking up our families in Montana. We got there just in time for a crazy Spring Blizzard...

....celebrated Ryan's graduation from Dental School...
...spent weekends in Billings and Helena with our favorite sisters and their families :) My brother Jonathan got home from Ireland and my brother Lucas made a couple trips to Lewistown...it was so great to see them!

We are both so blessed to have such awesome parents, siblings, in-laws, niece, and nephews. We had so much fun, and made memories we will treasure forever...
We left Lewistown on a rainy Tuesday morning...so excited and ready for our drive to Alaska. After a few hours, with no trouble at all, we rolled into Canada. Other than all the foreign transaction charges on my credit card, we really enjoyed the country! The Canadian Rockies were breathtaking...and driving through Banff National Park was amazing...

It felt WONDERFUL to get our feet (or Landcruiser wheels) back on US soil. Alaska is one of the most beautiful places I have seen. We roadtripped all over the state....took a cruise in Valdez....camped out in Seward...enjoyed Subway and the Comfort Inn in Soldotna (I can only rough it for so long..haha)

Now, here we are in Bethel...we are temporarily living on Prison Row, and STILL living out of suitcases...but, our car arrived on the barge yesterday...Ryan is working at YK and loving it....we move into our new place on the 1st...We just received our first shipment of alcohol from Anchorage :) (you can't buy it in Bethel) and I've already met some great people, who I know will be life long friends. Life is good.
